About the Directors

​

Horst Kornberger is an author, poet, interdisciplinary artist and researcher into the field of imagination and creativity. Horst is the director of the Writing Connection and a co-director of Creativity Consultants Worldwide. He lectures internationally on themes of education, creativity, ecology and team development. Jennifer Kornberger is a published poet, playwright, artist and educator. She co-founded the Goethean Studies Programme and The Writing Connection in Perth. Jennifer is a recipient of an Australia Council Literature Grant. She wrote and produced four festival dramas and two plays and has developed an emotional literacy curriculum based on the work of acting pioneer Michael Chekov. Jennifer is a founder and co-director of Creativity Consultants Worldwide.

Community Development Project


The following projects were designed for communities to reach social potential through transformative artistic experiences:
The Man With Three Names
The True Fire
The Queen and the Key
The Winter Shoes

<b>The Beemaster</b>
This contemporary festival drama unfolded over three days and took the bee crisis as a metaphor for the current crisis of the scientific paradigm.

<b>The Pyrenees Project</b>
Seven Australian families walked a section of the Camino Aragon enacting scenes based on events that occurred in that landscape more than 800 years ago. The play explored alternative spirituality through the life of Cathar Perfect Esclarmonde of Foix.

<b>The Silver Tree Project</b>
The Two Flutes was a community-building project commissioned by the Silver Tree Steiner School to mark the re-location of their school to a new site.

<b>High Altitude</b>
This humorous drama project written for an adult group explored the characters of fear, longing and humour on a spiritual path. 

<b>The Offering</b>
A retreat held in Bali focussing on creative process in the context of Balinese culture.

<b>The Grain of Rice</b>
A mini-drama addressing written for an upcoming retreat in Bali 2013.
